Jess Mastriani is not a typical Midwestern teenager, given to fist-fights with the football team and month-long detentions rather than cheerleading. Part of her wants to be the prom queen her mother envisions, while another part counts down to buying her own Harley—until something happens that makes her part of the in-crowd, at least until her new talent gets her killed.
