NextBookInOrder exists to answer one question well: what order should I read this series in? We cover 199 of the most-read book series with verified publication order, covers, and links to buy.

How we build the data

Our reading-order data is assembled from open bibliographic sources (Open Library bulk data, with Wikidata and editorial review layered on top) and ranked by real reader engagement. We keep only genuine reading-order series — not publisher imprints or cataloging lines — using author-level verification and de-duplication across editions and languages. Every series page lists books in publication order with the year each was released.

Accuracy & corrections

Reading order matters, so we treat accuracy as the product. Data is multi-source verified and editorially reviewed before publishing. If you spot an error, we want to fix it — the catalog is corrected continuously.
