About “Plain Jane”
At number 67 Clarges Street, a fashionable London town house, the downstairs staff has a special mission each season: to arrange a match. Plain Jane, joining her beautiful sister Euphemia for the season, wishes she could catch Lord Tregarthan's notice, but while Euphemia flirts her way into a marquis's arms, Jane occupies herself snooping into the strange death of a former tenant, until the staff helps transform her and draw her into a liaison with the lord of her dreams.
