Acorna is a young girl with a tiny horn on her forehead, funny-looking feet, silver hair, and special abilities including purifying air and water, making plants grow, and healing wounds. She was found by three prospectors in an escape pod among asteroids and taken to the bandit planet Kezdet, where no questions are asked. However, Kezdet's wealth comes from a dark trade in child slave labor run by a mysterious figure known as "The Piper," who has plans for Acorna's powers. Despite the planet's harsh environment, Acorna is determined to find her own path and embrace freedom.
