Bastille, a Knight of Crystallia, vowed to protect the Smedry clan from the Evil Librarians. When Alcatraz Smedry was sacrificed to the dark gods, Bastille arrived too late, and Alcatraz's father took his place. Now Alcatraz is broken, so Bastille must lead the fight against Biblioden, the founder of the Evil Librarians, who has returned to finish his plan for world domination. Biblioden plans to use dark powers gained from the sacrifice against those not under his control. Bastille must find a way to stop him before everyone is destroyed. Though Alcatraz claims he is not a hero, Bastille believes he is wrong and that it is time for others to act when a hero fails.
