About “Artemis invaded”
Artemis Invaded is a 2015 novel by Jane Lindskold set on the planet Artemis, a lost world that holds powerful ancient technology. Stranded archaeologist Griffin teams up with Adara, a gene-modified native huntress, and her puma companion, Sand Shadow, to find another repository of the technology. Their goal is to help Griffin contact his ship and return home. Adara struggles with her feelings for Griffin and the effects of her bond with Sand Shadow and the planet. Griffin remains focused on his mission, unaware that his presence has triggered events that will endanger those he cares about. As he searches for a way off Artemis, the planet faces an unexpected invasion.
