About “Wayfarers”
Wayfarers is the first novel in the Wayfarer trilogy by Norwegian author Knut Hamsun, published in 1927. The story follows two characters, August and Edevart, as they travel through Norway, taking on random jobs. The trilogy continues with August and concludes with The Road Leads On, published in 1933. The novel is part of a series that explores the lives of its wandering protagonists. Hamsun is a well-known Norwegian writer, and Wayfarers is his first work in this trilogy.
