Abd al-Husayn Sharaf al-Din al-Musawi (1873–1957) was a Shi'a Twelver Islamic scholar widely regarded as a social reformer and activist, and the modern founder of the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon. He was known for his nonviolent opposition to the French mandate in Lebanon, which prompted an unsuccessful assassination attempt against him.
