Abu al-Qasim al-Musawi al-Khoei was a major Iranian-Iraqi Shia marja and dean of the Hawza of Najaf. He was a prominent Twelver Shia Muslim scholar who was widely considered the most influential of his time. Al-Khoei was an Iranian-Iraqi Islamic scholar. He was born in 1899 and died in 1992.
