Al-Hurr al-Amili (1624–1693) was a prominent Twelver Shia scholar, muhaddith, and poet. He is best known for his comprehensive hadith compilation, Wasa'il al-Shia, and is counted as the second of the "Three Great Muhammads" in later Shia Islamic history.
