Alice Oseman is a British author, illustrator, and screenwriter born on October 16, 1994, in Kent, England. She is best known for creating the Heartstopper graphic novel series, a beloved LGBTQ+ coming-of-age story that was adapted into a hit Netflix series for which she also served as writer and executive producer. Oseman made her debut as a novelist at age nineteen and has since written several acclaimed young adult novels including Solitaire, Radio Silence, I Was Born for This, and Loveless.
