Amanda Browning was born in the borders of Essex House and continues to reside there. She is the third of four children, with a twin sister, and grew up with two brothers, enjoying both active play and reading. Her passion for books led her to a career in libraries before she transitioned to writing romance novels, inspired by a colleague’s suggestion. Her third manuscript was accepted and published in 1987, marking the beginning of a sustained writing career.
