Amanda Gorman

Amanda Gorman is an American poet and activist. Her work addresses themes of oppression, feminism, race, and marginalization, as well as the African diaspora. She gained international recognition in 2021 for writing and performing the poem "The Hill We Climb" at the inauguration of Joe Biden. Gorman has authored the poetry book The One for Whom Food Is Not Enough, which was published in 2015.
