Anna Campbell was born in Brisbane, Australia, and grew up on an avocado farm with views of Moreton Bay and Stradbroke Island. After various jobs and travel, including several years in the United Kingdom, she settled near the sea on the east coast of Australia. She began writing with the intention of becoming a romance novelist, inspired by her passion for stories about love, hope, and triumph through adversity. Her first novel, originally titled Claiming the Courtesan, was released by Avon in April 2007 and marked the beginning of a series of publications released in Australia, the USA, Spain, Italy, Germany, and Russia.
