Atiśa Dipankara Shrijnana (980–1054 CE) was a Buddhist teacher from the Pala Empire, described as a Bengali Buddhist scholar. Along with Konchog Gyalpo and Marpa, he was one of the major figures in establishing the Sarma lineages in Tibet after the repression of Buddhism by King Langdarma.
