Aya Kitō

Aya Kitō was a Japanese diarist who wrote about her personal experiences living with spinocerebellar ataxia. Her work was published in the book 1 Litre no Namida, which was translated into many languages and adapted into a 2004 film and a 2005 television drama series. She was born in 1962 and died in 1988.
