Ben Aaronovitch

2 series 22 books in order

Ben Aaronovitch was born in 1964. He had parents, some brothers, some sisters, and a dog named after a Russian cosmonaut. He had a dull childhood that led him to science fiction. In his early twenties, he discovered he had one talent and began screenwriting. He achieved overnight success, writing for Doctor Who, Casualty, and the science fiction soap opera Jupiter Moon. He also wrote for Virgin’s New Adventures until the series was canceled. After this, he worked on Dark Knight, a book for Big Finish, and Blake’s 7 Audio dramas. He supported his book habit by working as a bookseller at Waterstones. While shelving books, he decided to write his own. He wrote Rivers of London, known as Midnight Riot in the Americas. He became a father to a son named Karifa, whom he calls 'The Evil Monster Boy.' Ben Aaronovitch currently lives in London and says he will not leave the city.
