Lee Jun-fan, known professionally as Bruce Lee, was a Hong Kong–American martial artist and actor who lived from November 27, 1940, to July 20, 1973. He was a martial artist, instructor, and philosopher who founded Jeet Kune Do, a martial arts philosophy that combined elements from various combat disciplines. This approach is often seen as a precursor to modern mixed martial arts.
