C. J. Daugherty, also known as Christi Daugherty, is an American-born novelist based in England who writes under the pen name Ava Glass. She is best known for the Night School series, a collection of young adult romantic thrillers set in a fictional boarding school. Daugherty began her career as a journalist, writing for publications such as the Dallas Morning News and Reuters, and later worked for the British government before beginning her novel-writing career in 2010.
