Cecelia Ahern is an Irish author and former member of the pop group Shimma, which finished third in the Irish national final for the Eurovision Song Contest. She holds a degree in Journalism and Media Communications and began her writing career at the age of twenty-one with the publication of her debut novel, PS, I Love You. The novel achieved international success, becoming a bestseller in multiple countries and earning her several literary nominations. She is the daughter of Bertie Ahern, former Irish Taoiseach, and the sister-in-law of Nicky Byrne of the Irish pop group Westlife.
