Constance Bennett is the author of five historical romances written under the pseudonym Constance Bennett and fifteen contemporary romances written as Connie Bennett. She is a native of Missouri who spent four years in Los Angeles studying film and television acting before returning home to begin her writing career in 1985. Her works include several award nominations, including two Rita Award nominations from Romance Writers of America, and she received recognition from Romantic Times for her Harlequin Superromances. She retired from her full-time marketing job and has taken a break from writing, though she occasionally teaches workshops on plotting.
