David A. Ross is an art museum professional and educator with a career spanning four decades. He has held curatorial and senior leadership roles at the Everson Museum of Art, the Long Beach Museum of Art, and the University Art Museum at UC Berkeley. He has served as director of the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Ross is also the co-founder and president of the Artists’ Pension Trust and has lectured at universities and served as a juror and commissioner for international exhibitions.
