David C. Pitt

David C. Pitt was a professor of sociology and anthropology born in Wellington, New Zealand. He held academic positions at the University of Victoria, the University of Waikato, and the University of Auckland, and served as a Chargé de Recherches at the Institut International de recherches pour la paix in Geneva. He also worked as a consultant for the International Labour Organization, UNESCO, and the World Health Organization. He passed away in Geneva, Switzerland in 2016.
