Delilah S. Dawson is an American author known for her work in science fiction, fantasy, and horror. She is the New York Times bestselling writer of Star Wars: PHASMA, Galaxy’s Edge: Black Spire, and other novels including The Secrets of Long Snoot, The Perfect Weapon, Scorched, and the Blud and Shadow series. She also wrote the HIT series and Wake of Vultures. Under the pseudonym Lila Bowen, she authored the Shadow series. Dawson has contributed short stories to anthologies such as Death & Honey and Violent Ends. She co-wrote the Tales of Pell series with Kevin Hearne. Her upcoming projects include the middle grade horror novel MINE and the generational trauma novel THE VIOLENCE. She has also written comics, including Ladycastle, Sparrowhawk, and Firefly: The Sting, as well as stories for Star Wars Adventures and Adventure Time. She won the 2015 Fantasy Book of the Year and the 2013 Steampunk Book of the Year. Dawson lives in Florida with her family.
