Ṣādiq Hidāyat

Ṣādiq Hidāyat was an Iranian writer, translator, satirist, and poet. He is best known for his novel The Blind Owl and is considered one of the earliest Iranian writers to adopt literary modernism. He is also widely regarded as the father of the atheist movement in Iran. Hidāyat was born in 1903 and died in 1951.
