Donald John Trump was born on June 14, 1946, in Queens, a borough of New York City. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. In 1971, he took over his family's real-estate business, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations. The company was involved in building or renovating skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump also engaged in various side ventures, primarily through licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015 and produced and hosted the reality television show The Apprentice from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth at $3.1 billion. Trump entered politics and became the 45th president of the United States. A special counsel investigation found that he and his campaign welcomed Russian interference in the 2016 election but did not find sufficient evidence to charge him with criminal conspiracy. A 2019 House impeachment inquiry found that he solicited foreign interference in the 2020 election and obstructed the inquiry. He was impeached by the House of Representatives in December 2019. Trump is the third U.S. president to be impeached.
