Erich Neumann was a psychologist, philosopher, and writer who studied under Carl Jung. Born in Berlin to a Jewish family, he earned a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and later obtained a medical degree from the University of Berlin. In 1934, he moved to Tel Aviv with his wife Julia, where he practiced analytical psychology until his death. He was active in the International Association for Analytical Psychology and served as president of the Israel Association of Analytical Psychologists.
