Ferrand Martínez was a canon of Toledo and secretary of the chancery of Alfonso X the Wise and Sancho IV of Castile. He lived in the second half of the 13th century. He is recognized by much of literary criticism as the author of El Libro del cavallero Zifar. Ferrand Martínez was a Spanish writer.
