George Crile III

George Crile III (1945-2006) was an American television journalist born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, worked as a Washington reporter and Pentagon correspondent, and joined CBS News in 1976, later working on 60 Minutes. He published Charlie Wilson's War in 2003. He died at 61 from pancreatic cancer.
