1 series 1 book in order

George Yurii Shevelov (1908-2002) was a Ukrainian-American linguist, philologist, essayist, literary historian, and critic, and a longtime professor of Slavic philology at Columbia University. He challenged the prevailing notion of a unified East Slavic ancestor language, proposing instead that Ukrainian, Belarusian, and Russian emerged independently of one another. He is credited with A Historical Phonology of the Ukrainian Language in the Historical Phonology of the Slavic Languages series. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
