Born in New York, he earned degrees in Archaeology and Medicine. He served as president and chief executive officer of a biotechnology company in Massachusetts. In 2009, he debuted in fiction with his first novel, Secret of the seventh Sion (USA) and Library of the dead (UK), which was released in Italy in the same year under the title La biblioteca dei morti by the publisher NORD. The following year, in 2010, he published his second novel, Book of the souls, known in Italian as Il libro delle anime.
