Guillermo Cabrera Infante (Gibara, 22 de abril de 1929 – 21 de febrero de 2005) fue un novelista, ensayista, traductor, guionista y crítico cubano. En la década de 1950 utilizó el seudónimo Guillermo Caín. Aunque en un momento apoyó al régimen de Castro, se exilió en Londres en 1965. Es conocido principalmente por la novela Tres Tristes Tigres. Recibió el Premio Cervantes en 1997.
