Gustave Mark Gilbert (September 30, 1911 – February 6, 1977) was an American psychologist known for his observations of high-ranking Nazi leaders during the Nuremberg trials. His 1950 book The Psychology of Dictatorship analyzed Adolf Hitler through the testimonies of Hitler's closest military commanders. Gilbert's work remains studied in academic institutions, particularly in psychology. He was born in 1911 and died in 1977.
