Harvey Kurtzman

Harvey Kurtzman was an American cartoonist and editor known for creating the parodic comic book Mad and writing the Little Annie Fanny strips. He worked on Mad from 1952 until 1956 and wrote the Playboy series from 1962 until 1988. His work featured satire, parody, and social critique, and he maintained strict control over the visual elements of his stories. Kurtzman was born in 1924 and died in 1993.
