Holly Black is an American author born on November 10, 1971, best known for her fantasy novels aimed at children and young adults. She is the creator of The Folk of the Air trilogy, a darkly imaginative series set in the world of faerie, as well as co-creator of The Spiderwick Chronicles. Her work has earned numerous accolades including a Newbery Honor and a Nebula Award, and has been translated into more than thirty languages worldwide.
