Ibn Abī Shaiba (776–849) was a Muslim jurist and scholar of hadith. He authored a musannaf work commonly known as Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah, the second-largest hadith compilation ever produced and one of the earliest extant works in the genre. Many Muslim hadith specialists regard him as one of the four most significant authors in the field.
