Abu Muhammad Abd al-Haqq ibn Ghalib ibn Abd al-Rahman, better known as Ibn 'Atiyya (1088–1146), was a Sunni Andalusian scholar. A Maliki jurist, traditionist, grammarian, linguist and poet, he was considered the foremost Quran commentator of his time, and his fame derives largely from his celebrated Quran commentary, Tafsir Ibn Atiyya.
