Aḥmad bin Muḥammad bin Ibrāhīm bin Abū Bakr ibn Khallikān, known as Ibn Khallikān, was a 13th century Muslim scholar and author. He compiled the biographical encyclopedia Deaths of Eminent Men and the Sons of the Epoch, which focuses on Muslim scholars and important figures in Muslim history. His work is considered a significant contribution to Islamic historiography.
