Iskandar Beg Munshi was an Iranian court scribe and chronicler who wrote the historical work Tarikh-e Alam-ara-ye Abbasi, focusing on early Safavid history, particularly the reign of Shah Abbas I. He was an Iranian historian active during the Safavid period. Iskandar Beg Munshi was born in 1560 and died in 1634.
