Abū al-Faḍl ʿIyāḍ ibn Mūsā, better known as Qāḍī ʿIyāḍ (1083–1149), was a Sunni polymath considered the leading scholar in Maliki fiqh and hadith of his time. He also specialised in theology, legal theory, scriptural exegesis, the Arabic language, history, genealogy, and poetry.
