Jean-Yves Ferri is a French comic writer and cartoonist born on April 20, 1959, best known for carrying on the legendary Asterix series after the retirement of its original creators. He took the helm as scriptwriter for Asterix starting with "Asterix and the Picts" (2013), working alongside illustrator Didier Conrad to continue the beloved Gaulish adventures for a new generation of readers.
