Jim Wallace

Jim Wallace lived in Norway for a year on a Fulbright, taught school in Kampala, Uganda for three years, and worked in Tokyo teaching English and writing English language textbooks. He later served as senior editor at McGraw-Hill for six years and then as acquisitions editor for two years. He moved to Vermont in the 1970s and maintained a variety of hobbies, including riding motorcycles, editing books, DJing on the radio, fixing cars, and chainsawing lumber. Jim Wallace contributed extensively to his community through friendship, writing, and teaching before his death in 2012.
