Louis Cha, known by his pen name Jin Yong (1924-2018), was a modern Chinese-language novelist and co-founder of the Hong Kong daily Ming Pao, which he started in 1959, serving as its first editor-in-chief. His fifteen wuxia works, written between 1955 and 1972, have sold over 100 million copies worldwide.
