Acharya Jinasena (c. 783–838) was a Digambara Jain monk, scholar, and religious leader in 8th-century India. He is known for composing the Adipurana and Mahapurana, considered foundational texts of Jain Sanskrit literature, and for completing the Jaidhavala commentary begun by his teacher Virasena. He served as the royal spiritual advisor to the Rashtrakuta emperor Amoghavarsha.
