John Bunyan (1628-1688) was an English writer and nonconformist preacher, best remembered as the author of the Christian allegory The Pilgrim's Progress, which became an influential literary model. He wrote nearly sixty titles, many of them expanded sermons. The Pilgrim's Progress appears in our catalog in editions from the Harvard Classics and Altemus' One Syllable Series.
