John Dickinson

John Dickinson was an American Founding Father, attorney, and politician from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Wilmington, Delaware. He was known as the "Penman of the Revolution" for his 12 Letters from a Farmer in Pennsylvania, published in 1767 and 1768, and he also wrote "The Liberty Song" in 1768. Dickinson was born in 1732 and died in 1808.
