He began a nine-year association with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1969 before starting his career as an author and relationship counselor. In 1992, he published Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus, which became a long-term best seller and shaped the focus of his later works. His books have sold millions of copies.
