John Sallis

John Sallis was an American philosopher known for his work in the tradition of phenomenology. He held the Frederick J. Adelmann Professor of Philosophy at Boston College from 2005 until his death. He taught at several universities including Pennsylvania State University, Vanderbilt University, Loyola University of Chicago, Duquesne University, and the University of the South. He was born in 1938 and died in 2025.
