Jul Maroh is a French author known for creating graphic novels, including Blue Is the Warmest Color, a New York Times bestseller that was adapted into a film. The film won the Cannes Film Festival Palme d'Or in 2013 and was both acclaimed and controversial. Maroh also wrote the graphic novels Skandalon and Body Music. They live in Angouleme, France.
