Julia Eccleshare MBE is a British journalist and critic who specialized in children's books. She served as Children's Books editor for The Guardian for more than ten years, starting at least in 2000 and ending in 2016. She is an editorial contributor and advisor for the website Love Reading 4 Kids and was appointed children's director of the Hay Festival in 2016. She is a recipient of the Eleanor Farjeon Award.
